Affiliate Policy

1) Overview

The Pick and Print Affiliate Program (“Program”) lets approved partners earn commission for referring customers to pickandprint.ca through a unique tracking link and/or assigned coupon code. By joining and participating, you agree to this Policy.

2) Eligibility

  • Open to creators, community leaders, and partners who share content relevant to custom photo gifts.
  • We may approve, pause, or remove applications at our discretion.
  • A valid email and payout method are required.

3) Your Tracking Link & Coupon

  • You’ll receive a public alias that generates your link:
    https://pickandprint.ca/a/YOURALIAS
  • You may deep-link to any page on our site by appending ?to=/any/path
    (example: https://pickandprint.ca/a/YOURALIAS?to=/product/custom-photo-hoodie/).
  • You may also receive your custom unique coupon code. When a customer uses your code, the order is credited to you even if the click came from another source.

4) Attribution Rules

  • Last-click attribution with a 30-day cookie. If a user clicks your link, orders within 30 days, and no other affiliate link is clicked later, the order is credited to you.
  • Coupon→affiliate mapping wins. If your coupon is used, the order credits to you regardless of the last click.
  • Direct site visits after a tracked click still count during the cookie window.
  • We filter invalid clicks (e.g., obvious bots, duplicate throttled traffic).

5) Commission

  • Standard commission: 12% of the item subtotal after discounts, excluding taxes, shipping, and fees.
  • Exclusions: Certain products or promotions may be set to no commission (e.g., gift cards, heavy promotional items, bulk/wholesale).
  • Self-referrals are not allowed. Orders placed by the affiliate on their own account or for their own household are not eligible.
  • Fraudulent, canceled, or unpaid orders are not eligible.

6) Lock Period, Refunds & Adjustments

  • Commissions for a given order lock after ~30 days to allow for returns, exchanges, chargebacks, or fraud review.
  • If an order is refunded partially or fully, the commission is reduced proportionally or voided.
  • We may correct tracking mistakes, add missing credits, or reverse credits if abuse is detected.

7) Payouts

  • Manual payouts are processed on a regular schedule (typically monthly for the prior period).
  • Minimum payout: $50 (USD/CAD equivalent). Smaller amounts roll over.
  • Methods: Interac e-Transfer (Canada), PayPal (global), or store credit. Fees (if any) are deducted from the payout.
  • You’re responsible for any taxes owed in your jurisdiction. We may request tax or identity information where required by law.

8) Promotion Rules

Do:

  • Use your unique link and coupon in posts, bios, stories, videos, newsletters, and on your site.
  • Clearly disclose the affiliate relationship (see #9).
  • Use our brand assets and product imagery as provided.

Don’t:

  • Bid on our brand names or domain (e.g., “Pick and Print”, “Pick&Print”, “pickandprint.ca”) in paid search or run ads that look like official Pick and Print ads.
  • Frame, mask, or otherwise hide our domain; no cookie stuffing, forced clicks, pop-unders, toolbars, or auto-redirects.
  • Post codes on coupon-only directories without any original content or context.
  • Mislead customers about pricing, availability, or discounts.
  • Use spam, bots, fake traffic, or adult/hate/illegal content.

We reserve the right to decline or reverse commissions and/or terminate an account for violations.

9) Disclosure & Compliance

  • Affiliates must comply with FTC/ASA and other advertising disclosure rules.
  • Use clear language wherever your link or code appears. Example: “This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you buy through my link/code—at no extra cost to you.”
  • Comply with platform policies (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).

10) Creative & Messaging

  • You may describe products in your own voice; keep claims accurate.
  • Don’t edit our trademarks or logos. Don’t imply you are Pick & Print or that your page is our official page.
  • Ask us if you need custom creative, samples, or specific talking points.

11) Data & Privacy

  • We record clicks, attributed orders, and basic order values for reporting and payout.
  • You may see these stats in your affiliate dashboard. We don’t share customer PII with affiliates.
  • Use of the Program is also governed by our site Privacy Policy.

12) Term & Termination

  • Participation is at-will. You may leave the Program at any time.
  • We may pause, adjust rates, or terminate accounts at our discretion (e.g., inactivity, violations, or business changes).
  • Upon termination, unpaid eligible commissions up to the termination date will be paid on the next cycle (subject to the minimum and this Policy).

13) Changes

We may update this Policy, commission rates, exclusions, or payout methods from time to time. Continued participation after changes go live constitutes acceptance.
