These specs help your portraits and custom graphics print crisp and true—across our two processes: Sublimation (mugs, tumblers, select poly items) and Pigment Transfer (cotton tees/hoodies, caps, dark garments).

Quick Checklist (TL;DR)

• Original file (not a screenshot or social‑media download)
• Photos: ≥ 2000 px on the short side (ideal 3000–4000 px)
• Small text ≥ 8–10 pt; line weight ≥ 1–1.5 pt at print size
• You own the rights/permission to print

Accepted File Types & Color

Accepted: JPG, PNG, PDF
Not ideal: HEIC (export to high‑quality JPG), low‑res screenshots, files saved from WhatsApp/Facebook
Transparency: Use PNG or vector for transparent backgrounds

Tip: If you’re unsure, send the largest/original file. We’ll downscale cleanly.

Resolution Targets

Photos (portraits, family shots)

• Minimum: shortest side ≥ 2000 px
• Ideal: shortest side ≥ 3000–4000 px (≈ 10–13 in at 300 DPI)
• Avoid heavy filters, over‑sharpening, or extreme noise reduction.

Graphics/Logos/Illustrations

• Vector preferred: SVG or PDF (fonts outlined) — scales perfectly
• Raster: PNG (transparent) or JPG at 300 DPI at the final print size
• Text size: ≥ 8–10 pt at print size (thicker weights read better)
• Line weight: ≥ 1–1.5 pt at print size
• Gradients & shadows: Keep subtle to avoid banding; avoid ultra‑hairline details

Portrait Photo Tips

Lighting: bright, even, natural light (open shade or near a window). Avoid mixed color lighting and harsh overhead shadows.
Framing: include full hair and shoulders; leave extra space around the subject for cropping.
Avoid: night mode blur, digital zoom, heavy filters, screenshots, or photos re‑saved from social apps.

Graphics & Logo Prep

• Vector first: supply SVG/PDF for logos/line art; outline fonts
• Raster art: export at final size 300 DPI; use PNG for transparency
• Small text & lines: keep within the minimums above
• Color: specify brand colors; we approximate within print gamut (exact Pantone matches aren’t guaranteed)
• Background removal: we can remove backgrounds—mention this in notes; hair and fine edges benefit from higher resolution
• Metallic/Neon: simulated via CMYK equivalents (no true metallic/fluorescent inks)

Rights, Privacy & What We Decline

• You must own the rights/permission to print the image(s)
• We use your files only to produce your order and support your request; we don’t publish or resell your images
• We may decline files that are illegal, hateful, or violate IP/copyright
